The Whistling Swan Manor is the perfect venue for an elegant small wedding. Whether you prefer a secluded wedding for two (an elopement ceremony) or a group wedding for family and friends, the beautiful Columbia Valley is an idyllic setting. The Columbia Valley is situated between the Purcell Mountains and the Canadian Rockies overlooking the stunning Lake Windermere. It is only 90 minutes from Banff/Lake Louise or three hours from Calgary, Alberta.
There is a 360-degree view, as the mountain ranges tower over the lush valley. The breathtaking scenery and elegant facility at The Whistling Swan Manor provide a delightful combination for a fairy tale wedding.
At The Whistling Swan Manor, you are welcome to descend our balcony stairs to the grounds below or our indoor staircase to the fabulous living room below. Exchange your vows in our lovely garden setting or in front of our charming fireplace!
An outdoor wedding ceremony can accommodate a maximum of 65 people, while an indoor wedding ceremony can host up to 30 people.
As a destination wedding, the Lake Windermere area has several large hotels, including the Super 8 and the Best Western, which are available to accommodate you and your guests.

We offer property rental only and do not have the resources to provide labour, catering, set-up/tear-down, or table/chair/dish/tent rentals.
